Vandalism

Saw something like those above? Or have experienced it?
Yes, Vandalism is the topic of the day. However we are going to focus more on Car Vandalism.
Those picture above are attached by a neighbourhood friend of mine, Jon Yen. Below is the email he send to me.

Yo,

Last nite was parking car at Blk 10 level 3 multi-storey carpark, and this is what I saw! I cannot believe it, so terrible of people to do such things to another’s car, no respect what so ever. See the pictures I attached? All these cars are sprayed with paint and scratched, my god! Hope you can forward this email to all our neighbours to warn them that vandals are around and making trouble for us!! &*#^$% one!

Hope everyone can be on the lookout for each other and inform suspicious characters in our neighbourhoods. Oh yah, you know that policeman Pete right? Maybe you can check with him on any tips for us when parking our cars?

Jon from Blk 3, Vic Street

Another story that I would like to share is an account by Mr Tan Bee Wee.A student of RP and a resident of Block 3, he was reluctant and afraid to share his experience at first but after awhile, I managed to convince him to share his account on this.

What happened was Mr Tan was on his way back home after a long day in school. It was around 8pm that the incident happened. According to Mr Tan, he was reaching his block when he suddenly heard scratch noises and soon sound of a spray can being sprayed. Out of curiosity, he traced the sound and to his horror, he saw some teenager who appears to look like 16-18 years old vandalising a white car at the carpark behind  his block. The white car was sprayed with red spray and there were many scratches on the car.

Afraid to speak up, Mr Tan kept quiet and just went back to the lift lobby and took the lift up.
So, when asked how the man looked like, Mr Tan managed to described him.
According to him, he look like a teenager aged 16-18 years old.
- Height of around 168cm.
- Tanned 
- Thick eyebrows
- Body quite build.

So that was an account by Mr Tan. I would like to share another account by Mrs Vejaya which involves a similar vandalism.

Mrs Vejaya, a resident of Block 7, claimed that she saw a similar accident. She was at the playground watching her two kids playing. Out of the blue, she saw a teenager aged 14-16 at a nearby carpark doing something mysterious. Curious, she went closer to take a look. She was shocked to find out that the teen was spraying randomly on the car. Angered, she shouted at the guy. The guy looked and saw her and panicked. He ran away immediately.

According to Mrs Vejaya, the guy was wearing white school uniform and has a tattoo on his neck that looked like some form of a dragon. She then reported to the police and are now working closely with them to find the culprit.
